Thai Joint Manipulation

Thai

Thai Joint Manipulation (also called "Thai Massage", "Thai Yoga" or Nuad Boran) is a unique form of Asian bodywork native to Thailand. These techniques use rhythmic movement, leverage, and steady pressure to release tension and blockages in the body. These techniques open up the joints, allowing greater freedom of movement and creating a feeling of ease in the body. Treatment is performed on a padded mat on the floor, allowing the therapist to use their whole body for support and leverage. The recipient relaxes while the practitioner gently pushes, pulls and presses them to energize and balance the entire body. These techniques are best done in comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.
